Our 2009 Other Sheep Asia Trip
NEPAL:  Air Flight Over the Himalayan Mounts.
Friday morning, July 10, 2009.
On our last day in Nepal, the top of the
Himalayans came into view for the first
time.  Very unusual at this rainy-time of the
year.  We saw these views, at left, on our
way to the airport for our Mountain Flight
tour on Buddha Air.

zooming in; you can see the pilot's dashboard in the foreground. This
is the closest we got to Mt. Everest.  July 10, 2009.  By Steve Parelli

The peaks of these mountains appear much,
much closer than they actually are.  We flew
to these mountains.  Quit a distance.
Below, my first view of Mt. Everest; whereas this
view , above, was my second time in the cockpit.
